The Journey Continues... (Part 1)

In the journey for assets comes the downsides of using those assets...
During the usage of these assets, there were both good and bad things. The main upside is the texturing. Although a bit flat, the textures allowed me to scale, rotate, and reposition the singular rock in order to make many different rocks that outline the pond. This took a lot more time though as making each look at least somewhat different from each other took up a lot more time than was previously expected. It ended up coming down to the AI's navigation that gave me actual difficulty.
The AI Navigation was working flawlessly on a flat surface, but games are (of course) not just flat planes all the time. The hub area is supposed to be a park, and in that park are hills that give some form of depth. The AI would either get stuck on a particular surface or just stop running altogether, which led me to certain components and a rudimentary understanding of them. I am still working out some bugs and will be getting into more play-space decorations and finally usage of audio but it has taken much longer than previously anticipated.
